I take it before measuring the ride hight the boot should be empty but how emty - no spare wheel, full or empty fuel tank?

You would not remove standard features like a spare, your height should not change much with fuel level. What’s your issue FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

No problem just checking as had other FL2's parked next to me and they seem a lot higher, as mine stands front is 491 on spec, and the rear is 490 15 mm low 3mm out of spec but boot full of cr*p.

3mm is nothing I was expecting at least 40mm.

Being a 2007 car it may well be low by a few mm. is it worth spending money on a whole set of dampers and springs ? FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

For a few mm no I dont think so, if it was a lot then yes but as I am not having problems there is nothing to repair -as said prevention is better than the cure.
