Door takes 2 pulls to open?

Hi All
My drivers door always takes 2 pulls on the internal handle to open the door
It never opens on the first pull but always opens on the second, is this normal?

It's a 2008 GS manual

Mine has just started to play up too. Doesn't open at all since yesterday. It opens from the button on the dash though. 😒

Even when the door is not locked though, it still won't open on the first pull??

Sounds like the door is not unlocking properly with the central locking. It could just be a sticky solenoid or linkage. It is unlocking on the first pull of the handle and the second pull opens the door. You could try spraying WD40 or similar inand around the lock to see if that helps but you might have to take the door panel off to get into the back of the lock and the rest of the linkage.
