Good advice guys thanks - Isn't it strange that a bit of pain changes procedure OR makes you spend another Ł100 on a REMOVABLE TOWBAR |

No don't he's already suffering - although if he smacked the other knee, maybe that would balance the pain |

The light/reg plate bar for my cycle carrier has a 7 pin plug and needs an adapter to fit the dealer fitted 13pin socket on my FL2 and it triggers the trailer warning light on the dashboard and silences the reversing sensors. The same happens when I attach a small trailer with a 13 pin socket. I believe that later models than mine (an 07) with a correctly fitted towbar loom don’t need coding but I don’t know when that change took place. |

My 2014 didn’t need any coding, it was fitted at a tow bar specialist with 13 pin electrics and an LR dedicated wiring loom, everything works ok with my caravan and car trailer in tow. 64 plate TD4 SE Santorini Black
