This happened on mine I was looking at replacing the micro switch but tried giving the handle a few good knocks and shutting the tailgate forcefully and it worked again,not had it happen again. |

Tailgate micro switch will probably be the fault, not expensive to buy and easy to change. lots on here via search. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Thank you for confirming our suspicions. All we need To now give the tailgate a few bangs to see if that helps and if not for it to become warmer enough 🥶to go out and change the switch, and find a good switch in the meantime. |

Just a quick update. The sun was out so out I went took about an hour to fit to include a cup of tea. I happy to report that the central locking now unlocks the tailgate and all is back to normal.
