Only difference fitting leds to your trailer is that when towing the little trailer telltale on the dashboard won't light up as leds don't draw enough current for it to work. |

Hi Oz Maate. I have 2008 SE TD4 and use an adapted Ford LED "Connector LED Trail" so all electrics work fine, including the trailer tell tail for the indicators and silenced reverse sensors when coupled up.

$62? Ouch. The LED light units cost me less than $20. I run a 7 pin flat all the way, I'm sure there's a resistor cable available somewhere. Really it's not that much of a hassle, although having the reverse warning going off even when I've got the pushy on the back is a bit much.

Sargent electrical make a unit for caravans with led rear lights. Your local Swift caravan dealer may be able to get one for you. Mine, Saab convertible
