Hey folks

Hope someone can help with this intermittent fault that has very recently started...

This time of year nearly Always have the Heater cranked up on both sides (and the heated drivers seat on) in my 07 SE auto

This past week the passenger side heater has been fine and constant as it should be, however the drivers side has started to cycle between hot (as it should be) to cold then warm to hot again and is only on the drivers side. So 2 seconds cold, 2 seconds warm, 2 seconds hot and then this cycle repeats but only on the drivers side, like I said this has just started happening this week and some times it works fine as it should with the temp being constant but it seems like its starting to become more frequent. Has anyone else had this happen, or do we have any ideas what it is or how it can be sorted?

There are over 130 pages about the heating system in the downloadable workshop manual. To me it sounds like a problem with the vent "door" actuators. But its a bit of a guess as Ive never had to work on the FL's heating system. It looks a pain to get at and, according to the manual, the blower motor needs special tools to remove it. Jules

Thanks fJules / Vanny! Will give the gradual cold to hot trick a go and will let you know

In the mean time if any one has had this or any more ideas / suggestions will be gladly welcome
