My wife will probably need a 4WD under warranty soon due to me not being able now do the same maintenance on the FL2 as I have been used too. I am going to get a price on a variety of new cars to include the Landmark Discovery Sport. Would be up for the new Defender but it’s a year away and by then I could be as well unless I am offered some radical treatment early this New Year. Do you not know a independent garage that could do the maintenance for you ? If the car has been looked after and maintained as you say £9,300 is peanuts. If you do buy a new LR three years time you are back in the same boat with warranty. |

If you want to the neighbours off you need to buy a car transporter - nothing like a tatty commercial vehicle parked on the road outside your house to them off. You could always put a scrap car on it with all the windows smashed and a couple of quilts in so that the aforesaid neighbours cats get to sleep/ in it, then leave it there for 9 months.

Actually Jack I have very nice neighbours either side of us and a field in front. Not quite as blessed behind but maybe that’s life today. It’s still nice to put a new car in the drive every so often though as they get company cars often. Mind you selecting one is the issue, so would I be better keeping the FL2 and accepting the indie does all the work, going for a year old replacement or going brand new ?
