I think the big difference these days is that the “ Premier Dealerships *“ don’t sell cars . They sell a finance package attached to an ever more irrelevant “ lifestyle “ products. . This is the case for most of the major brands . Great stuff when I was working and had a choice of company leased or cash to do your own thing . When you come to put your own cash into something you start to ask yourself if you really want to spend sixty of seventy thousand pounds over the next 9 years to run around in the latest and greatest . If things get tighter post Brexit , flash motors will be one of the first thing to be dumped in favour of more cash in people’s pockets .

Re. Building works, The dealer in Aberystwyth is also building a new showroom but I was told that is due to them having to have separate premises for Land. Rover and Hyundai. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
