I'm re-opening this old thread because I need to top up my power steering reservoir, which is just below the "min" when cold.

I once spoke to a guy, in the desert, who was running out of Steering Fluid. He added Johnson's Baby Oil. Sorted the problem out a treat.

That reminds me of the 2CV that lost its gearbox oil in South America. Stuck the guy filled it wth Bannanas and carried on for thousands of miles. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
