Dash light query

Noticed this one (extreme lower left) during the self test process the other day, what is it? No mention in the owners handbook & haven't been able to find it online yet!

Cheers,

Nick

Thanks HM, no it wasn't No.30 but No.32 I was asking about.

Legend says Fuel Fired Booster Heater (if fitted)!

Seems odd that it would appear in the self test when NOT fitted! Yet the Glow Plug Heater doesn't appear during the self test process.

Glow plug heater very rarely shows, even in colder climates! Others on here might be able to confirm if that comes up on their similar age of car, mine has the eco light there instead. It may be an export spec thing. I guess since the car will have the loom designed to take the additional heater it may be that the check light always comes on at test. But it might be worth getting the CCF settings looked at to see if it has been set wrongly for your car’s spec, as presence or absence is a simple CCF choice with the appropriate code tool. 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Thanks for that Worms, I'll check the CCF when I get a minute. Can't see why it would be activated but we'll see! As for the Glow plug light, I really would expect it to self test at the least!
