United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Fuji White

The problem seems to be the one on the left with the spiral gear on the shaft (the larger of the two)
Have'nt yet tracked down a UK source which is surprising since the same motor (FC-280SC) is fitted to Fords, Mazda, Lexus etc - anyone got any suggestions? No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

"Fiat Lux" a philosophy not a car

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Firenze Red

I read somewhere that the spiral gear is an interference fit and the application of heat will release it. The motor, sans gear, seems to be readily available for under £2 - watch for shaft length though. Ours are 20mm rather than the seemingly mor common 10mm.

Now that I have an old module I may investigate further but in the meantime, it seems that they are an off the shelf item... £8.68 inc shipping from China (where else?). Try as I will I can't make the URL produce the actual page but it is shown in different forms below.
