Radio illumination.

this may be a daft question but are the radio button backgrounds luminous.?
Sat in the car in the dark, with no lights on and the keys out of ignition, I noticed what is best described as the radio controls gently glowing, getting out and locking the car made no difference.
Looking in the manual there is nothing about it or online, so do all of them (pre facelift) do it or is it a fault?
Has anyone else noticed it.

Problem solved (sort of).
not a special edition or fancy option but a fault with the radio, removed the fuse for the radio (f6 in the passenger footwell) and the glow has gone.

I think I would prefer the glow and have the radio working.
