Which battery for 2012 td4 stop start

Hi I need to replace the battery in my 2012 manual td4 xs.

The car currently has a yuasa YBX3110 fitted.

Looking on Taynas website it says that the battery will be marked EFB AGM or similar.
This battery has no such markings, I'm wondering if the current battery is an incorrect replacement.

Please could someone point me in the right direction.

Stop/Start batteries are AGM

I put on of these on our old Td4.e 3 years ago, and it's still going strong Thumbs Up

I would not go too low on Amp Hours. I got one of these a year ago but price has jumped:

When I got my 2009 TD4e the stop / start never worked although it had a brand new battery fitted. Roughly a year later the battery was dead in the cold weather and rather than charging it in the car I took it out to charge in the garage but I found it had very little weight and was only a 65ah regular lead acid.

Went to my local motor factors and they looked up right one and recommended 80ah, 800A AGM. They sold me a Bosch just a tad below £200. It's probably twice the weight of the one it replaced and been fine ever since, but now the damn stop start works Yawn Rolling Eyes 09 FL2 GS TD4e Current

All fitted and she starts and runs much better from cold, hopefully the random dash light warnings will desist too! North Wales Land Rover Club
