They didn't win any of the categories but they certainly featured in the reviews and had plenty of praise. |

A number of years ago I had a day out at Millbrook as a prize from Volvo, we drove or were driven on all the different tracks , a good day out if you ever get the chance. |

In Australia we are using dualcabs mostly these days because caravans are made for offroad or at least semi offroad. The endless corrugated dirt roads will destroy your standard caravan in minutes!

In case there’s any lawyers reading this .. never . It was all fair and above board. If it was true tow car of the year there’s only 2 contenders .. FF RR tdv8 or the Bentley. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

I had an xc70 d5 205bhp auto, nice car very rapid and great in bad weather .main downside was not enough ground clearance and very very thirsty. gone P38 v8 auto no problems, great howle from exhausts when giving it welly Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car. 1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum. 2nd Tdv6 se auto epb 3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite. |

it definitely looks like the beginning of the end for Landrover if they can't compete in best Towcar of the year awards.

One really shouldn't take the Caravan & Motorhome Club tow car awards seriously. Last edited by ReggiePerrin on 7th Nov 2018 6:19 pm. Edited 1 time in total |
