I've read that FL2's are prone to headlight problems.

As mentioned above. If you open the bonnet and look down at the light here is a white sticker on the light that gives details of the light fitted. It should have either HAL for halogen or HID for xenon. If you have an xs then it is most probably halogen. Oh and welcome. |

Hi, I have a MY13 xs too, that has an HB3 which is a single filament bulb and a movable reflector unit. You may be able to hear the reflector unit move. I tried to buy bulbs at halfords, but guy there didn't understand the system used so kept giving me twin filament bulbs! Their ''catalogue'' didn't show late model FL2s. |

Andrew Page do (did) a Osram replacement. Easier to take out the whole light to replace. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Helfruad catalogue says the lamp for swmbo Kia was a Mini lamp NOT. There was something a while back on here that they had stopped selling lamps to facelifted Freelanders. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

yes that was me that was refused by Hellfrauds, they didn't want responsibility for HB3 bulbs blowing in LR/RR so just refused to sell them or list them.

That sounds cheap. The ones I've got from various dealers were well over that price - more like £15 I seem to remember |
