It would probably be less expensive to have it done by a car audio/ ICE specialist rather than getting an LR dealer to do it, and they would more than likely farm it out to a subcontractor. One of the sponsors of RRSport.co.uk the sister site to this is an ICE specialist in the UK, you could browse over the home page of www.rrsport.co.uk and look for the ad for Prestige Audio or even visit their website at http://www.prestigeaudio.co.uk/auto/ How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

As Tim says, get a specialist to do it!!. The system, even if factory ordered is a 'retro' dealer fit and they have not supressed mine properly. It has been back several times and the buzzing in the left channel on the headphones is '...worse than before...' according the dealer. My local ICE specilaist said he can do better quality gear, that works, at cheaper prices. Plus you do not get a player with Landrover, just the screens and some jack sockets. The ICE specilaist includes the player, either loose under a seat, or fixed under a seat or within the headrests: several options just ask him. When my replacement FL 2 arrives I'm taking it to the ICE man |
