Hi, has any one retro fitted day running lights to there freelander2. I was looking at maybe trying to source slim ones that would fit in the slim opening between the main and lower grilles. Also i need to them to either dim or swich off when the side lights are operated. Any ideas please. |

I stand to be corrected on this but I believe that post 2013 there were a lot of changes to the wiring on FL2s as JLR put common systems into the Evoque production line so it might not be an easy job. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

2013 onwards is a different beast, it would have more in common with a 2013 Mazda! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Its relatively simple to run additional wiring to auxiliary lights. Plenty of info on web, easy job for auto electrician if you are not confident to do so. Have a look at this post in the Freelander 2 group on Facebook, you'll probably have to join the group to see it, plenty of different options on there for aftermarket ones.
