Not on a FL2 but on an Evoque.

Passenger heated seat is not working at all. All the electric adjustments and memory functions are working fine.

Is it likely to be separate under seat connections for adjustments and heating or on the same block connectors?

I've got warranty but not sure if heated seats are covered.

Have you pulled the fuse & put it back in.

I had no power to one of the 12v outlets. The fuse was not blown, but it turned out to be poor contact, even though it was tight. Must have been a bit of corrosion. It all worked perfectly when it was back in.

Also disconnect plugs & reconnect them.

I would assume the heating element has its own fuse. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Thanks for the all info. I'll be calling into the garage on Tuesday to push for it to be looked at under warranty.

The lights on the seat heater dial light up but no heat in the seat so again I'm not sure if they are separate fused.

I'll get the manual out tomorrow to look at fuses and see if I can get my head under the seat to check connectors...... that's if it's not still chucking down with rain è

If the Evoque is similar to FL2, then each seat has its own dedicated fuse, just for the heat pad and seat temperature control.
Other seat adjustment controls are on separate fuses. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

Ok. So fuses checked (they appear to be the same as FL2 fuses as passenger is Fb4 in the boot panel) and relay checked (which also covers HDC and DSC functions)

There is very little room under the seat but so far as I can see all connectors are plugged in.
So it's looking like the heat pads may have failed. Time to discuss warranty with the garage 🤔

is it possible to retrofit this?

update from me - heated seat pad replaced under warranty and all working ok.

for anyone that's interested and looking to purchase a car (FL2 or otherwise) then so far I cant recommend Motordepot car supermarket enough. From non pressured point of sale to using a different dealership for warranty work (heated seat and drivers door mirror glass loose) they have been excellent.

I purchased a comprehensive 3 year warranty (that covers haldex, diffs etc as well) and a 3 year service package with MOT's for under £1k all in. The only thing I didn't have was breakdown (as in LR Assist) but a quick call to green flag got decent cover for £75.

add that to my Ewok being a very low mileage (cheapest in the country like for like by £2.5k) with full LR history and it made for a very pleasant experience, much better than the LR dealers ive been to.
