Grass snake spotted and stalked by neighbours cat on their yard. I was drafted in to assist using the handy grabber and returned it safely to the field. 🐍

A fool and his hands are soon parted They have been known to bite in self defence apparently (non venomous). The neighbour was all for hitting it with the shovel but I pointed out that was cruel and also illegal as they are protected by law.
