odometer inop

help required. my freelander 2 that I got yesterday has an inop. speedo odometer. speedo is fine as is the trip & the fuel range
indicator. Any ideas guys?

If it's the older style dash,pre 2012, I'd check that the odometer reset button is not sticking, particularly if everything else seems OK.

thanks oldsalt, will try that. wasn't sure if it was because the garage I got it from had serviced it & reset service lights
