Harry Kane, clever man, played a blinder, pulled the player down to start with

Jordan Henderson sticking the head in the Columbian

Dirty show from both sides. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

I've never seen players sabotage the penalty spot before Shocked
Stones, McGuire and Henderson must have sawdust for brains if they can't exploit the way the Columbians are behaving rather than trying to fight them back.

It’s not a dirty show from both sides at all. We’ve had moments of stupidity by taking their bait but overall they are cheating scumbags with a referee on their side for the most part. Ironically, the bloke who should have been sent off scored the goal.

If Columbia win, at least we know it’s by unfair means. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

England instigated the whole thing, pinching the guys bum. Later on a replay clearly showed Jordan Henderson sticking the head into a Colombian player in another incident. Harry Kane clearly pulling the Colombian player, who reacted and gave away the penalty. If that’s not dirty play I don’t know what is. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

You are clearly watching a different game or are cheering Colombia on. Henderson deserved a yellow though. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Not a good game, Colombia were a disgrace at times, (not) helped by poor refereeing. Every corner they were warned for holding yet the referee didn't follow it up.
Their best player at the end was the guy that should have been off for head-butting. Why have VAR and not use it properly, it's not called 'assistant referees' for nothing
Penalties are never a satisfactory way to resolve a game, but what else.
As for Colombia, they didn't deserve to progress in what after all is a footballing contest, not street brawling.
Sweden next
