Had a chat with the oh last night and it looks like she has set her heart on a F2. So it looks like we are looking at late models. What is the difference between the SD4 and TD4 engines? I thought the td4 was 2.0 and the SD4 was 2.2 and later, but some websites are showing the td4 as 2.2 in a 2014 car?? confused cheers

They are all 2.2's. TD4 is 150/160 bhp. Sd4 is 190 bhp. All Sd4's are automatics, general consensus are this is the best engine / transmission to go for.

Of the 3 FL2’s that I owned, two TD4 manuals and an SD4 automatic, the SD4 auto is by far the best - making up in some part for the lack of low range and the manual box is at its worst when trying to manoeuvre a heavy trailer off road, the clutch will start to burn with little provocation (and I swore that I’d never buy an auto!).
