United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

I have just rung round the main dealers in the northwest. Prices range from £422 down to £335 for the second service. Every dealer offered a discount when asked.

There are 2 dealers on £335 (all in) and both are offering to collect/deliver.

Which delaers qouted £335? That's £100 less than i've been quoted in the area!

James Edwards Chester - £360
Guy Salmon Knutsford - £335
Liverpool Service Centre - £335
Williams Manchester - £385
Stratstone Bury - £350
Conwy Rybrook - £352

These were the final figures quoted by the dealers, the highest starting point was £422. The figures were obtained last week. This is for the second service on my diesel freeander 2.

Just had 2nd service done at Team valley Land Rover service centre

£287.94

that included lift to work and car dropped off back to work, excellent!!

They also will do all warranty work! Current 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Black 2016 Onwards
Previous 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Sumatra black 2007 - 2016 Gone but never forgotten!

2014 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red

Took my Baby Freelander 2 XS for its 2nd Service ( Main Service )
Fallen out with the Dealer that i purchased the Vehicle

Went to see the Guys at Team Valley Landrover in Gateshead

Service carried out and Heater Recall
All sorted out within agreed times

Total Cost £274.47

Even dropped me off to wander around the Metro Centre while they carried out the Work
Car Valeted on my return

Even had a follow up call yesterday to check everything was O.K

Totally recommend them 10/10

Grrenbank 4x4 in Aberdeen

Greenbank were excellent. £211 all in, except for oil which I supplied, and they picked up and dropped off.

No apparent add on defects either!! 07 RRS Java Black

Second Service

I have just had my second service done today at Farnell Guiseley, cost £247.
I have also just been looking at buying F & R pads but as usual prices vary wildly...
Anybody got any info about changing the pads etc, do I need any new anti squeal shims etc, not had a look yet but will try in the next few days.
The last ones I changed were Disco ones and they were easy.
If I change them soon I will take notes and piccies in case anybody else interested. Thumbs Up

I got my best quote from THESE PEOPLE in Bridgewater, but went to the stealer in the end and had Censored service from them (again). Why oh why, did I think things would be any different from the other times I'd been there.

Having read the comments - I am thinking of driving to have my Freel serviced by RCV in East Peckham, heard good thing and and reasonable charges. All I hear abou Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad t stealers in the Bristol area is bad.javascript:emoticon('Crying or Very sad')
