I took my FL2 2.2 HSE 2007 for its second service here in Stavanger Norway. Did not ask for the price before taking it in... 7400 NOK which is over 700 pounds!! The service guy joked that LR labour prices where higher than Volvo. I feel special....

got my service done a few weeks ago at Guy Salmon in Sheffield.
Originally quoted about £335, then told them i had i quote from team valley land rover in Gateshead for £288.

They called me back and matched it....good service, only issue though, they cleaned the muck of it when it was in!!!  Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

Another thumbs up for team Valley, they carried out a 30,000 mile service a couple of weeks ago and the cost was £288, excellent service and the loan of a car for the day. Will definitely be using them again, the ironic thing is i live less than half mile away from Stratsone Stockton, but they wanted nearly £400. Well worth the trip and the wife give it thumbs up as well as we spent all day shoppingh at the Metro Centre

Apologies for veering slightly off-topic, but wondering if anyone on here has their FL2 serviced in the Midlands. If so, where do you recommend for efficiency & price?

Mine is approaching its first service. Initial quote from Trinity in Hinckley (Leicestershire) is coming out at £365.
Sound about right?

I took out a service plan with stratstones, Not sure if it was value for money or not but I got it for £38 a month in march, If I buy it today it will cost £39 thats based on 3 services.

Their original cost was £412 but a local LR specialist were quoting £250.

Just Had Our cars Serviced today by my Mobile Mechanic (BMW trained, Vat reg'd, AUTODATA SOFTWARE Etc.)

FL2 TD4, For a Full Service, air pollen & oil filters, 6 ltrs of oil, side light bulb, anti freeze top up, screenwash top up, inflated & rotated the tyres, cleaned the dust Etc. off the Brake System.

Plus a Similar service (10k) on the Missus Seat Ibiza

£207 Inc. Vat,(For both) All Original Parts

No Wonder He's booked up for the next 6 weeks!

I've just had my 2nd service (30,000 miles) done by my supplying dealership (Hammond LR, Halesworth) for £339.00 inc although they originally wanted £435.11 and offered to do it for 391.60 (10% off).

I also got quotes from Hunter LR of Norwich (£455.00) and JSF 4x4 an independent who quoted 267.82 inc vat and using genuine parts. I went for the dealers as I had a minor warranty item to fix and wanted to be sure I got all the latest firmware updates, plus (in part) I wanted to keep them in business.

I had to take it in as they wouldn't collect & return or provide a loan car for the 'special' low price I got. I was booked in to be first on the ramps (08.30) and it took 2.6 hours at £88.00+Vat / hour labour!!!

The never even washed it ("because I was waiting in reception") and I'd left it dirty deliberately, too .

Has anyone used either JSF 4x4 in Norwich or ACH Landrover Specialist in Lowestoft for their LR servicing??

I have just had a 30000 service carried out by Nene Land Rover in Peterborough, Cost 309.00 Inc VAT. They did a good job (I Think) hard to tell bet look like they covered everything. Loaned us a car for the day included.

Nene Overland and Footloose would have been cheaper!
