Rear lighter socket

How come the front lighter socket works but the rear doesn't? They appear to be on the same circuit.

I checked the connection and wiring and it seems to be ok.

Thx

I might be wrong but the front lighter socket is on a different circuit. One is live permanently and the other is live with ignition. Cheers,

Thats correct on my 2011 the front socket is controlled by the ignition and the rear seat socket is permanently live. Freelander 2 TD4 GS 2011 Manual Satorini Black (Current)

Yes, you are right! There must be a fuse somewhere for the rear one, then. But where? Question

Thx

Blew fuse on mine having dropped a bit of conductive crap down it by mistake. Depending on year will denote what fuse number so you need to do a continuity checking of fuses as some owner handbooks are incorrect. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
