The Trump is on the rampage!

https://news.sky.com/story/live-donald-tru...s-11326296

Looks like we are going to be getting involved too. I think it needs to be a UN sanctioned operation but Russia is backing Assad then you would have the mandatory veto or abstain from China.

Russia might as well have said if you dare touch Assad, we will kick your ass. Trump in turn might as well have said, do I look bothered?!

I don’t condone chemical attacks and something should be done but the scariest proposition is the potential for USA vs Russia.

A retired Russian General has told Sky News we are "very close" to nuclear war

Lt Gen Evgeny Buzhinsky told Dermot Murnaghan that shooting down American missiles is the least that Russia would do, and that if Russian blood is shed in Syria, then Americans "will shed their blood also".

"Your Prime Minister Churchill said if you had to choose between war and disgrace and you choose disgrace, then you get both. I don’t think Putin will choose disgrace," he added.

Asked how close we are to nuclear war, Mr Buzhinsky said: "Very close - closer than we were during the 1962 Cuban crisis."

He said Russia has been cornered and demonised from all angles.

"We are at all kinds of war with the collective West. Economic war, diplomatic war, information war – the last war which we’re not waging yet is a real fought war."

I have always said that the world would be a much better place without man in it.

He destroys pollutes anything & everything he touches for money & wealth.

I really cant see anyone firing off nukes as they will know its the end of everything, them their families & their country. Only a lunatic would do such a thing, mind you looking at Trump & Putin I think they both belong somewhere secure.

All vehicle in aluminium smelters around the pot lines can't have any form of electronics, the magnetic field is so strong it destroys everything. No watches, pacemakers or credit cards either. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Putin is not going to act on anything that may damage Mother Russia physically, the Russians never have and never will get involved with any action that may cause a retaliatory attack on on their homeland, though will fight to the last if their homeland is attacked. There was a lot of bluster from Putin when Turkey shot down the Russian fighter but no action, Putin pushes the boundaries to see what he can get away with, so far quite a lot due to western inaction, Syria is a good place to call his bluff, if the west doesn't he has carte blanche to push his luck further. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

Putin does not rule Russia and hasn't for along time probably since his second election 'victory'

Puppet who was stuck in place as although weak could act the part, sad part is he seems to actually believe he's the boss Rolling Eyes If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

The only time any of us can make a difference to this in UK is via the ballot box (allegedly). Unfortunately our weak leadershiop has a number of years left and can do far more damage than good by then.

Be open minded as I for one do not believe a word the UK press are telling me as Assad had won his war (forced on him by the West, Gulf States and Israel) and had nothing to gain by using Chlorine Gas that any one of us can knock up in our own garages.

40 years ago in war games Central Europe was going to be obliterated, it turned out, we then as an elite undercover unit working behind the front line were sacrificial lambs the moment anyone radioed in any movement of nuclear tipped weaponry and it would be taken out using, you have guessed it, nuclear tipped weaponry. If the high command were happy to kill their own elite soldiers the general public can forget seeing the new Defender if this kicks off.

The other thing I find interesting Bob is this obsession with “ Chemical Weapons “ , Show a few kids on the TV suffering from “ chemicals “ and the world wrings it hands .

Of course exposing those kids to chlorine gas is much more heinous than the high explosives , Fuel/Air bombs, cluster bombs, incendiary bombs et al , that have been killing hundreds of thousands of Syrian civilians for years .

Chemical Weapons , the WMDs , Blair’s bogeyman, it’s the new way to justify a political power game to the gullible Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

So to train me to be sharp in getting into a gas attack mode years ago I was taken into a gas room where CS gas was let free. Easy enough to let off and create those scenes we have seen on TV ! Anyone remember but I think CS for training was just in a tablet form before being released so any Tom Dick or Harry can move it about and release it.
