Aside the ring of fire (a stupid idea all round) the best out the box is the Traxxas TRX4. It has switchable locking diffs and two gears so might get you through the ring of fire as well. It is a bit top heavy so a swap to a poly-carbonate body would lower the centre of gravity and give you a chance in the ring of fire. You will need to break open your piggy bank though. |

T4 - I enjoyed checking those things out on youtube, the clips look great, they look very realistic if you change the film speed to half speed . . . .

That's awesome...looks like as much fun as real off-roading at a fraction of the cost Common sense isn't very common.

on a side not, i see you have two months to go, buy as soon as you can as these things are not easy to controll and need some getting used too, especially if trying to navigate tight terrain Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

And covers everything in cr**. For rock crawling electric is probably as good as anything as you have instant torque.

I bought a second-hand 90 roof and sides that had two windows in each side, don't know if it was a special or if somebody put them in themselves, was well done if the did, original standard. Common sense isn't very common.

I took the Scooby in for a service yesterday and walked from the garage down into Otley , the shop you linked NP , is on the corner just before the Junction pub . It’s a bloody impressive set up , they have been around for years , but looking at the new premises they must be doing something right 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership 2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Great stuff it’s still an alright place . I’ve mates in Otley so have been going there forever . In years gone by The Junction. then there was a Chinese next door , the Man Hong ? , or a walk to the original Balingers chippy , eating in the back, through the curtains . We also used to go look in Agars gun shop , which is still there but under different owners . I had lunch with the lads in Whittakers pub whilst the car was being serviced , it’s ftightening to think we were doing the rounds 40 years ago .... 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
