Just spotted this story of a young driver choosing Land Rover.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/prin...spartandhp FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

In the fifth image down looks to me like Her Majesty is recounting a Dave Allen religious joke with the Cleric

So that would be the child of the Royal who failed pass his military entrance course to join up and left and now struts about in a military officers uniform to include medals. That would be the same Royal who no doubt drives around London passing ex military men often with traumatic mental health issues who are now living rough on the street. Respect zero.

Love our Queen but the rest (apart from the next King or Queen) need to pay for their own existence in our society not the tax payer. Or like Harry earn the right to wear medals and a uniform. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

There are other circumstances surrounding Edwards demise on the Royal Marines entrance course, including outside pressures from senior Royals so its not as clear cut as just failing the course.

Yes he is a wet lettuce, but not everyone is cut out for the military and certainly not everyone is robust enough to pass the RM entrance.

As for medals, none of his medals are military, they are all awards, which civil servants/prominent community leaders etc etc can also be awarded for services to this, that or the other.

As for income, between him and his wife they have both had separate income businesses not connected to the Royal bank balance so for the most part are self financing.

People have a very misconstrued image of the entire Royal family and how they receive money. People forget that Prince Andrew, Edwards older brother, flew combat missions in the Falklands War and yet they are quick to slag him off for various things (some justified but most not). He is another hidden Royal who brings in a lot of money into the Royal Household and to the UK in general, Charles is the same.
The remainder of the Royals fund themselves and have their own lives.

BTW, im a supporter of the Royals in case you hadn't guessed Laughing they aren't perfect but then what family is ??

My regiment was a tad harder to get into than the Marines. Wink hence I have every respect to those that have fully turned up and not just attending to drink the tea and eat the biscuits. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Of course there are better ways of choosing a Head of State which are guaranteed to ensure that the best people attain this exalted Office. for example

USA and Trump
Russia and Putin
North Korea and Kim Jong Un
China and Xhi
Syria and Hassad
Italy and Berlosconi (technically only PM)
Libya and Gedaffi
etc etc

Perhaps the hereditary Monarchy isn't so bad after all and it's a lot cheaper than running elections every few years.

Oh and the Queen only ever seems to drive LandRovers 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
