I wonder if I can get a refund on my Velar? It says its a Range Rover but actually an F-Pace underneath. Nowhere in the brochure does it state that it’s a Jaguar. Anybody know a good lawyer 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

And much of what is "leather" is actually a cheap leather coated in a coloured plastic skin. Audi and BMW do this and you have to go for an expensive "nappa" etc leather option is you want the proper stuff.

All this isn't news to me, I've know all along that the seats in my D3, D4 & FL2 were all "leather faced" and therefore expect all other vehicle's "leather interiors" to be the same.

Chicken is good to eat but the skin doesn't make good seats as it tears. Best to roast your chicken until the skin is crisp and delicious to eat.

Mercedes ‘Artico’ formerly ‘MBTex’ is far superior to leather imho, it doesn’t crack or wrinkle, looks good after many years and if you want the leather smell, clean the stuff with Gliptone liquid leather.

First I recall of having artificial leather was back in 2003. Whilst home from school I remember browsing a Discovery 2 paperback broucher. It’s clearly stated leather seat facings. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I have a Peugeot RCZ which has a full Nappa leather interior including a beautifully stitched dash. The FL2 does not come close for finish, but then there are very many fewer RCZs about. That said, as I am currently finding out bloody great summer tyres and endless torque aren't ideal on snow and ice. Very frightening when you see the cost of body repairs for these!! Dave |

The results showed that while one sample from the middle of the seat was genuine ‘bovine’ leather, the other, from the side of the seat, was polyurethane, backed by layers of woven textile and ‘interlining’.
