Well if you want to use this particular JLR App then I suggest you download it before March 31st as it’s being taken off the Apple App Store.
Why? Well I’m hearing there’s been a falling out with JLR and the platform developers (Bosch/Cloud Car) for InControl Apps.
I guessing may have something to do with JLR’s deal signing with Blackberry in designing all their software for their Infotainment and security software.

Not completely finished as yet as I’m waiting on a final piece of hardware that Vanny has been very generous to make for me as it’s his skill set Thumbs Up
Not going to go into detail as yet but basically this has been a difficult activation namely due to a software “bug” in JLR’s diagnostic software and prototype software in L359 FCDIM and production software in TIM which are incompatible.
We’ve managed to get around these!
I’ve fully tested the platform which works perfectly albeit “Spotify” which after some research ended up being an iphone IOS 11 bug which was fixed with an IOS update to current software.

Hi Stuart,


very interesting threat.
I am doing this in my F-type 2014.
You put a picture here, the link harness between TIM and USB plate, but beside the connector there are 2 cables coming out, black and brown.
Where should these cables be connected?
I include your picture here so you can see what I mean:

Hi Stuart,

after all my retrofits in my 2014 MY F-type were succesfull this time the retrofit of the incontrol apps looks like a mission impossible.
I did all the wirings correct but nothing, even the navigation maps are no longer visible with the TIM module connected.
Maybe the 2014 MY touchscreen is not compatible?
I can not have the incontroll apps soft button in the touchscreen as you picture here below:
Is it in the software of the FCDIM or in the IAM module?
