"Drifting a bus in Edinburgh"

Narrated in Welsh

In the future when all vehicles are self-drive, this will be one where you hope the programmer for the bus's software had made the right decision on which vehicle he was willing to sacrifice when confronted by a problem like this.

It would be interesting to know what traction, or dynamic control systems the bus had, or were his fantastic driving skills just the 'old fashioned' kind. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

The bus driver did well to skid round the car. I bet the bloke in the van thought the rear of the bus was going to hit him.

They should get a posse together and hunt down that idiot car driver.
If the brainless twonk had even completed his/her move there would've been less risk to everyone.

And whilst they're at it, the Scottish Posse should hunt down those drunken idiots who disgraced the Scottish rugby win by hassling England coach Eddie Jones.

Had to go out in the Devon snow Storm Yesterday which was in the Red Warning area to Search for my son who was with a group of friend cycling before the worst of the storm came in. I told him he was not to go to far from our home town of Ashburton but do kids listen. Censored

Whistle Had to keep my speed up in places as I would lose traction as I only have Pirelli scorpion Zero 18" tyres fitted they seam very crap. I should have refitted my winter tyres. Rolling Eyes
For some unknown reason my heated screens front and rear and rev counter stopped working which reset when I stopped and restarted the engine.

The bus driver only missed the car due to its standard safety features . Electronic Stability Control (ESP), Electronic braking Systems, (EBS), anti-slip, acceleration limiter and hill start-aid all come as standard on the chasis of later buses. The worst feature is there is no selectable gears only forward and reverse buttons now so you cant lock it in a lower gear.

Yes no driver skill at all Rolling Eyes

What’s anti slip and acceleration limiter? Thats not fitted to the vehicles we use Confused They have hill hold which all auto vehicles have, doesn’t help climbing hills only prevents rollback.

They have the same safety features as a car but the driver still has to know how to get the best from it. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

This absolute Censored was blasting through a 30mph zone and just did not bother giving way. Good job I accelerated steadily and caught sight of him coming. Evil or Very Mad
