I am so glad to have found you all here
I bought a 2010 freelander 2 last week and took her to the dealer for a couple of minor things that it seems I could have done myself !!
I had the auto lock feature disables and the one click to unlock all the car enabled (now I learn I could have done that myself)

anyone one thing they couldn't do for me was to change the dashboard clock to 12hr function from 24hr function.
I managed this with the clock and sat nav but not on the dash and they said they couldn't find a way to do it via the computer.....

Anyone else had this issue ?

Isn't this on one of the radio menus? It's cold and windy outside so I don't want to go and look.

Yes it is but it doesn't change the clock on the centre dials only on the display above heater and on sat nav

I have a 2011 facelift and it does it on that. There was a firmware change in 2010, we had a 2008 model which didn't show the time on the display in front of the steering wheel. Our 10 reg did and so does our 60 reg one too. Might depend on exactly when yours was built.

Mine does display the time but its in 24hr format
when I changed the satnav/ heater panel to 12hr clock the centre display stays as 24hr and the dealer says it cant be changed

did you solve it in the end? Pre-Production "000" Td4 FL2 in Santorini Black on Jet Black and Blue...

Yep, they sell great knock off Casio's down in the market.  FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
