Hi there. I'm having an issue intermittently where when i put my auto into gear on first starting up the car will only crawl forward very slowly. If i take it out of gear and put back in the full power normally returns. Or if i just let the car warm up for 20 seconds or so the full power is available.

Mine did this and other things before I fitted the extra earth strap. |

I used to get that on mine if I put it in gear too quickly. Literally milliseconds after starting up. The wife said I’ve always been an impatient bar steward. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

got the mechanic to put new oil in but hasn't solved it...? |

Will do a quick search and post the link it's really easy I got my earth strap from eBay a good thick one and connected it to the engine casing. |

Yes and this is why, when I've heard that you'll be rebuilding the box, I wanted to know and to verify this information since you'll be having the box in pieces.
