Just had the renewal from LV for my FL2, max no claims (1 claim 4 years ago), business use included. Up from £455 last year to £459. Cheapest other quote online was £403 but with very minimal legal cover compared to LV and and unknown company.

Rang LV and an immediate drop to £440 so I may as well stick with them yet again, making it 3 years in a row for me.

this has happened to me for the last couple of years with LV,
renewal showing a large increase,
I check on line then a phone call to them and they've adjusted the pricing down,
I'm more than happy to stay with LV at the moment as the general feedback about them has been very good.

Interestingly my renewal came up with Admiral last week with the "obligatory" 25% increase despite no claims and no other changes

When I looked on Confused.com LV came up as the cheapest option at about £360 like for like

I used that information to negotiate Admiral down which saves all the inconvenience of switching

mine is slightly higher due to needing business use cover and having made a claim in November 2013 (so it wont be clear until next years renewal)

im happy to stay with LV even if they are slightly higher than the cheapest ones as there is a better chance of them paying out should I need (fingers crossed!) plus the hassles ive had in the past getting no claims sent across etc means an extra £20-£30 per year isn't worth switching.

£254 last year with M&S but renewal came in at £295. Telephone call to renewal line and quickly reduced to £270. Happy with that.

Cover is full comp, protected ncb for self and spouse, both retired. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

We have various policies with different options, it depends on different types of vehicles, what they are used for etc.. as to what is offered, so we would need to look at the full risk to advise you correctly on this.

But in short, yes we do have certain insurers who offer this specific cover

my windows are factory tinted so ive not declared them as they are classed as standard factory spec.

Wasn't going to bother until read a thread on here as didn't think I needed to but glad I did now £8 for peace of mind, well worth it  If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
