United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

Thing is , it is not a factory car Very Happy it’s a full rebuild by the specials department at Jaguar LandRover . They take late model Defenders bought in from where ever they get them . Then LandRover SVO get to work , gut the thing and out of the other end comes the V8 Defender. I do believe they did some big bucks E-Types a while back. The biggest exponent of this approach is Aston Martin who will take a £250 grand “ bit of a dog” DB5 , and send it back to you at a million plus “modernised “ Rolling with laughter

I would say “ more brass than sense “ , except when I win the EuroMillions I’ll be straight on the phone to Aston ! 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

2023 Toyota Hilux invincible X 2.8 Auto .

In fairness Lister have been hotting up Jags for years.

England 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black

put me down for one, have to change the alloys to some old type steels to make it more in keeping.

I used to have 110 (pre Defender) ex army with a 3.9 V8 in it, looked a wreak but my God did it move, nice watching peoples faces as you leave them at traffic lights or when you floor it doing 60 mph and it shots off into the distance Cool Common sense isn't very common.

An engineering prototype of the new D-type will be unveiled later today at Rétromobile Paris, with Jaguar Classic then building 25 fully working vehicles at its factory in Warwickshire.

Wales 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Firenze Red

Dealership told me this morning that they are £155K and they are only making 150. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Scotland

Just watched the LR video on the first post.

Saw the black wheel arches and thought thank goodness McGovern hasn't anything to do with its styling (he'd have body coloured them - and probably added diamanté studs).
So, all was going well until I saw the interior Shocked ..
.... so they must've got the black arches passed when McGovern was on his 'flat white' break.

I question those who have ivory leather (or a tree) as part of the interior of a car ..... but on a Defender ?????? FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.
