Thing is , it is not a factory car it’s a full rebuild by the specials department at Jaguar LandRover . They take late model Defenders bought in from where ever they get them . Then LandRover SVO get to work , gut the thing and out of the other end comes the V8 Defender. I do believe they did some big bucks E-Types a while back. The biggest exponent of this approach is Aston Martin who will take a £250 grand “ bit of a dog” DB5 , and send it back to you at a million plus “modernised “

Lister have just done something similar to a top end Jag F Type called Thunder. Supercharged 5.0Ltr V8 ..... 666bhp !!

put me down for one, have to change the alloys to some old type steels to make it more in keeping.

Dealership told me this morning that they are £155K and they are only making 150. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.
