Hi all,i have been reading up on the ways of draining and filling of the aisin auto box,which I believe needs ATF3309 fluid.a job I shall be doing when my driveway warms up a bit.

Use Toyota T-IV or halvoline maxlife ATF

adywicaksono, That Toyota T1-V ref is correct. Not recommended to use that Valvoline item. It is a “universal” ATF. A no no for Aisin boxes.

I am thinking the same for me,dump n fill 3 times.i will get 10ltrs.a friend has a garage close by and I know he has a device for sucking oil from overfilled sumps,I wonder if it could work on an auto box?i will pop round and ask him.

This is the correct type of tool for the drain plug.

DAMMIT! just missed the last one so looking on flaebay for another,have asked seller if he is getting more in stock.no mad rush so can wait a while. thanks for the info cheers sandy gone P38 v8 auto no problems,great howle from exhausts when giving it welly Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car. 1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum. 2nd Tdv6 se auto epb 3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite. |

OK this is the reply from Smith n Allan's tech dept.they obviously manufacture their own products,would it be right to assume to be able to produce and market atf3309 there must be a standard formula in place for all company's making it.?

That was a woolly answer. Does it meet the requirements of Toyota T-1V, or Ford WSS-M2C924-A or not?
