No the 2 bulbs are a little different although they do look the same at first glance. The HB3 has lugs and is a twist fit and is for MY 13 onwards headlight with the LED DRL`s and a single bulb whereas the H11 is for the earlier headlamp that has 2 bulbs, one for dip and one for main beam. Thumbs Up

No actual experience of the night breakers as I have xenon lights but there is a a lot of people on the forum that have them as an upgrade and do like them. There has been one or two reports about limited life and also some cheap copies from Ebay that turn out to rather dim compared to genuine Osram bulbs so it would be wise to ensure that you get them from a reputable source. Had cloudy headlight lenses on a few cars previously and you can make a big improvement in light output by cleaning the lenses with a soft cloth, water and toothpaste. Thumbs Up

When i say the lense is cloudy i don,t mean the main outer lense i mean the lense that the bulb its self sits behind

I think you mean the projector glass lump. Mine look like that also but it doesn't seem to affect the light output. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

As Blacktiger says if its the projector glass "dome" lens then yes they do look cloudy or opaque so I don`t think you have a problem with them.

Think the eye brow thing might be the flap that opens and closes for main and dipped beam, If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Given the number of threads like this from folks with the newer lights, and the fact that those of us with older versions seem to be more or less content, is it not possible to retrofit the pre-facelift light cluster and go back to the standard H7 bulbs? Confused

...or is it just that those of us with older models have bigger problems to worry about? Smile 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

Isn't there something about EU regulations on headlights now saying that after a certain manufacturing date the pattern must be the same on left and right hand drive cars so that you can take the car abroad and it doesn't dazzle oncoming vehicles? My own 2014 model manual says that you don't have to do anything when you get off the ferry now. (I have a French translation already pinned in the book in case I get stopped) . 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
