SatNav - selective deletion of previous locations

Sorry but I guess there's a simple, obvious answer to this. How do I delete previous destinations? I had to use the satnav recently and those destinations are still stored as previous locations. I've found the 'delete all' function but not one that seemingly allows me to selectively delete just certain ones.
I'm sure there's a facility there somewhere but damned if I can see it

I do not think that there is a selective delete (or at least I have never found it either)

Keep hunting because you can do it. I just can't remember how I did when I got my current car. Sorry. I probably hit upon the answer by a fluke which happens a lot with this system. Whoever created the software for this satnav system never used a Garmin where it's so easy. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

The system on my Subaru Forester allowed me to selectively delete - the LR system I assumed would do the same, but perhaps not. Will keep pressing buttons and see if there's an option somewhere Confused

Well I managed it somehow because the previous owner had left destinations around Sheffield. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

I am sure on the facelift Satnav the only option you have is the one that you have found i.e stored destinations-Delete all. The earlier satnavs allow you to delete individually but not the later ones. Big Cry

You could be right. I went right through the car as soon I'd got it so haven't had a need to delete anything since then. And, because the satnav is too difficult to set, I use my Garmin for longer tours. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

It's Simple!
- Navigation Menu
- Stored Locations
- Select "Previous Destinations" softkey
- Select your previous destination you want to be deleted or use "Delete All" key.
- press "ok" to delete or "cancel"

As I've said previously, the HDD nav system is outstanding if you know how to use it. Yes it is a comprehensive system and its all explained in the owners manual. MY15

I have to say that whilst it might be outstanding in Australia where your density of roads and destinations is nowhere near what it is in Europe. It is not intuitive to use. e.g. a friend of mine recently bought a new Seat and I found my way around the satnav in that much quicker than I did in my LR. Never having seen it before, I had our destination in and working within a minute.
Also, after years of using Garmin Zumos, the system in the LR is just obstructive in comparison. It is slow and the search facility is just awful where you have to wait a second for it to decide which letters to allow you to press next. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE

Thank you Stuartc , will check it to see if it really is that simple. As to your final statement, I'm not so sure Wink
