Aren’t the spare steel wheels 17”? If so, they should fit. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

There have been a couple of threads where forum users have described how they have made this upgrade - you should be able to find these using the search function. |

Chat to your insurance company as it would be a mod and they may sting you for it. The brakes as standard will not let you down unlike the headlights. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Did you ever go ahead with this? I am wanting to upgrade too and can't find a definitive answer if the re-positioned caliper for the 316mm disc fits inside 17" rims? |

This link suggests an I6 can use 16" wheels to 19" wheels.

Hi, I did not carry out this conversion as I was uncertain as to the problems. Dave |

There is c.19 to 20mm gap clear of any balancing weights and c.15mm where the weights are. With the radius of the 316mm dics only being 8mm bigger I am going to take the plunge and give them a try with 17" alloys. Will report back when done with some photos. |

You can remove the weights if you have to and have them rebalanced using just clip-on weights on the inner wheel rim flange only. Any tyre shop will be able to do that for you. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I’ve ordered some Brembo 316mm discs, OEM pads and front Caliper carriers. At the same time I picked up some new 3.2 Petrol rear vented discs and larger Piston calipers.

Has anybody investigated what effect these changes have to the settings of the various anti-lock and stability systems of the FL2?
