I expect that you know that you need to check for valve/piston damage ? It very likely that valves and pistons have come into contact. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The danger is if the cam breaks then the valves may not be clear of the pistons when they rise, thus damaging the valve, piston and even crank shaft. |

i understand this, as if the cambelt/timingbelt snaps. but in this case, the function of the camshaft are not compromised besides it will not power the high pressure pump. |

I think your best help here will be the Haynes manual. Its at least a good starting point.
