I don't have any metal nipple on mine. That is why I suggested checking the pipe for blockage.

Just watched the video again and I though I noticed a small metal nozzle in the end of the red hose pipe but I may have been mistaken. I have learned from the video that the lense is just a 'holder' for the nozzle so if anything is missing I think it's from the hose. I'll have a better look at the car tomorrow. Cheers again Paul |

There is definitely not a metal nipple on the jet but there is a (small rubber o ring seal) which does perish over time & without it in place the screen wash does flow back into the car ending up with a wet boot. |

Thanks. I think I'll order a new hose and change that when I do the light swap. Appreciate your time. Thank you |

It's plastic, red plastic on the red lights and white plastic on the clear lights, I've just dug out my old red light that got replaced by a clear one and taken some pictures, the end has turned white (I'm guessing due to screen wash and UV light) 2007 TD4 XS Manual in Sumatra Black |

Thanks for your help. I replaced the light and hose yesterday. The original red lense was fine but the end of the plastic hose had snapped off hence the poor distribution of water. All working fine now.
