comes out at just over £100 for the service items, and a further £250 for the time taken to change those items over, do all the other checking, topping up and lubing bits, wash it, hoover it, courtesy LR/RR................. doesn't sound so bad when you put it that way |

I could run with a dealer LR B service all in at £350 but I would be ensuring the fuel filter was definitely changed as its not a easy unit to get at and if anything is going to be "missed" it will be that. Pollen filter is also a thrutch at my age to change so another one to watch for. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I once took a 110 into a “while-you-wait” exhaust place in Nairobi. While having a cup of coffee with the owner, the old exhaust was removed and laid out on the workshop floor, straight sections of pipe and silencer boxes brought out from a store room, pipes bent and welded up alongside the old one, and then fitted. As quick as any Kwik Fit, but much more entertaining! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto Previously: 2010 MY FL2 TD4e GS - Now gone at 199,500 miles, about 135,000 of them mine. ‘93 Defender 110 200TDi CSW ‘87 Defender 90 4 cyl Petrol ‘83 110 CSW V8 - best ever! I seem to recall that some years ago Ford tried to stop people making copies of exhaust systems by claiming that it was effectively a work of art like a sculpture where the artist has copyright. There was a big court case about it and the Judge eventually threw the case out. Not that your guys in Nairobi would have bothered about that of course. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto 5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE |

Don't think he'll. travel, he has a double garage at the rear of his home and it's set up just like a workshop. Give me a bit of notice next time your due for servicing etc.. I'll line him up, usually on Saturdays but on the odd Sunday too. REME .. Rough Engineering Made Easy |

Put the winter wheels on to help cope with our no doubt upcoming mild wet winter and changed the brake fluid. |

I washed it. I used a different shampoo that is supposed to drip dry without leathering it off. It seemed to work OK but as you just rinse off after washing the car is still wet and you can't see any bits you have missed until it dries.
