The drawings of the spacers attached are as much info I could get on them after a wad of research and e-mails before I had mine made.

I ended up making an exact dimensional paper copy as well the original drawing to give to my friend who used to work in a machine shop. Using both of these documents the spacers he made were a perfect fit.

What width of spacers are you going for?

Must admit I have never seen or heard of these but at around £500 for 2 sets delivered giving 24mm lift front and rear they are certainly not cheap for the equivalent of £125 per spacer / corner.

As regards not fitting rear spacers I suppose it depends on what sort of terrain you are off-roading on and how much ground clearance you are looking for......

Even with my larger AT tyres and rear suspension spacers fitted my Mantec tank guard is still 'having to do it's job' over some crests so for me the rear suspension spacers were a primary part of the solution to increase ground clearance and minimise underbody contact.

I'am going to lift the hole car,25mm rear/20 front
I was thinking once I bolt all that heavy steel/winch I would use one spring spacer each side on the front

Gauging Interest

Hello folks. I have designed moulds for the front and rear spacers and am thinking about having the moulds machined from billet aluminium and will be starting to cast spacers using 80 shore hardness polyurethane.

Just wondering if there is any interest out there for these spacers which I reckon will be priced at £30 each for front spacers and £35 each for rear spacers making a complete set £130 in total. Was also wondering what colour folks would prefer them to be cast in.

If there is enough interest, I could have the first batch ready within 2 weeks.

Good to see some more interest in spacers again - Good job!

One thing I did notice when I made mine was that most spacers previously made for the Freelander 2's and Freelander 1's too for that matter were made out of solid material e.g. Aluminium or solid nylon which would not compress when the struts are bolted into place or over the years with the spacers supporting the whole weight of the vehicle.

Most polyurethane bushes I have used in situations where they are bolted together have used metal sleeves to stop compression and allow a specific torque for the nuts/bolts to be applied on installation and maintained over the years - Not an ideal place I'm thinking for things to compress and nuts to become loose......

Would you intend using some sort of sleeves or inserts in yours?

Apologies if I have picked up the wrong end of the stick or am missing something and as I said it's good to see some more interest again......

Very good point. I can easily adjust the design so that it incorporates stainless anti-crush sleeves that are slightly shorter than the height of the spacers.
Would put the cost up a wee bit but not too much.

I'm extremely interested in buying spacers. If I can't buy them ready-made I have planned to get them fabricate, but I'm just a little hesitant due to a couple of important missing details here.

For what it's worth, I'd rather just use solid aluminium for the front and rear. I'm not a fan of having them made of PU.
