Looking to trade in my 07 SE with 124,000 on the clock and I am wondering what I might get offered.

As sad as it is in today's world, it's hugely naïve to sign up to ANYTHING with your primary email address, particularly a website with something to sell or gain. But WBAC doesn't require a valid email address for a simple valuation - give it stickitupyourarse@ .com and be done with it! |

Agree. I always type something like jygfjytfjytfyjtf@jhfjytf.com and give a made up phone number. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto Present: Audi A3 S Line. |

As it happened I bought her a 'Personal' email address, like the private plate she has on her vehicle, just after this incident.

I found that Autotrader.com would not provide a value for my old car once it went into its 7th year and over 80,000 miles.

Back in June this year I went with my son to "Cereals 2017" its an agricultural event for professionals. I was walking past a stand offering free breakfasts if they could scan my pass so I took up the offer and very nice it was too. A few days later I had an email saying that I had won 45 woodland trees plus 45 stakes and 45 rabbit protectors in the prize draw and where did I want them delivered !!? I doubt if many people have space in their garden for this lot but luckily my wife's brother is a farmer and I arranged for them to be delivered to him. However sure enough I am now being mailbombed with offers to try out combine harvesters and all sorts of farm gear. Nothing from LandRover of course. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

my god that is a huge huge mark up...5k!!! for a car that wouldn't have needed much fettling for the showroom... proves how much dealers are ripping us off with trade in against forecourt prices, I know they have overheads etc but not 5k worth |

My 2011 GS 79k miles FSH was p/x ed for £7.5k back in March to a LR dealer and ended up in a garage in London where it was initially on sale for £9.5k for a couple of months and then dropped to £8.5k when it finally disappeared so I guess it sold for about £8.25k after a bit of haggling. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
