cooling fan is not working

Dear All

Today I have issue with car and it's related with cooling fan.
Sympton: AC is not cold, I drove 2km and no over heating but I don't want to push further
I notice that the cooling fan is not working at all.

Anyone has done this before:

1. Try to troubleshoot the fan to see if the issue is in the fuse, problem Fuse F3 (on engine) is not accessible
Anyone knows how much voltage need to test?

2. Shall replace coolant fan is the only solution? can we replace fan module only?

I just had to change out the fan on my 3.2 i6 due to the fan failing so this may or may not be useful to you. The AC should function fine once you are moving, even if the fan is not working. If it's not cooling when you are moving then I would suspect something else is wrong. I ordered a complete fan and module assembly but expected to only have to change out the module but it turned out to be the fan motor that was bad. Since my car was 10 years old, I pulled the front bumper and radiator since I had to do a coolant change as well.

Seems FAN issue, but could be because of fuse 80AMP is damaged

Yep, same code I got using the icarsoft. You can check for 12v on the upper connector (3 wires, 2 large for power and 1 small purple wire for the fan control signal). If power is there, your fuse is OK. You can also jumper power from the battery or the upper connector direct to the lower (motor) connector to check if your fan is working correctly.

Will check it later. Thanks for your input
Anyhow, is there a way to replace the fan module only?

Similar like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Cooling-Fan-Re...2360570205

Not sure if this is compatible since original part is LR011905 is having embedded fan module and fan itself and I think only the module is damaged (only guessing)

Is there also a way to bypass the fan module?
