Swap Tyres

Got to 10,000 miles on the Michelins Crossclimates and just swapped them from front to rear to hopefully get balanced long term wear. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Nope Rog being on demand only 4WD its the opposite as for most of the time most of the drive only goes to your front wheels and your Haldex is also getting premature wear as well trying to compensate for differing circumferences by you not trying to balance out wear. Never mix tyre brands. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

1st 'long' trip out in mine, 200 mile round trip down then M1 to Milton Keynes and back up the A5/M69/M1.

I had driven further in my TD4 Auto and got 34mpg average, but this is longest run out in my SD4 Auto and returned 40.1 mpg.

Got back home from our trip into the Scottish Borders (Jedburgh) total of 1246 miles,
Beautiful drive up and back, the Freelander handled the hills superbly,
I must say the countryside in the Borders is stunning could even be god's own. Whistle
