Thats strange, my problem was with the dates they gave me where either a loan car was available or getting one of their guy's to give me a lift into work (Portlethen)

Loan car? They never said anything about that. I was going to come in from Kintore @ the crack of dawn and sit. It was the wife that asked about LR paying for fuel. Kintore to Altens at rush hour took 1hr 50 the last time i did it a few weeks back. 08 FL2 SE TD4 manual,Santorini Black, Factory fitted Black Tinted Glass, Anti-Tesco Trolly Side Protection, bebe confort axiss carseats & Cargo barrier to stop twin's buggy & junk coming through. NO Sweets Crisps or Drinks inside.

Got mine in for next Friday as well, can't wait, I'm fed up of getting to work, and only just getting heat from the car.

Can I ask why everyone is needing an aux heater? The heater in mine seems ok TD4, HSE, Santorini Black, SS side protection tubes, clear side repeaters, chrome wing mirror covers |

It's for the time it takes to heat up. With this heater, you get hot air pretty much as straight the way, where as without it, I can drive for 5-10 minutes before getting warm air, or longer if your driving slowly.

Not sure what you have in the HSE, on mine (GS model) there is a button on the dash called "PROG". Pushing this button brings on an electric heater (and heated rear screen) which gives you instant heat on cold mornings. There is a problem with the control circuitry for this heater whereby condensation from the AC unit can drip down onto this circuitry and cause a short circuit and potential fire inside the vehicle. Most of us have been without this heater since the only fix at the time was to pull out the fuse to it. A fix is now available hence the reason everyone is racing to get it done with all the cold weather we have been having lately. Has yours been fixed before you bought the car, or has it just had the fuse pulled. You can check by removing the battery cover and the fuse (if pulled) should be attached to one of the batery cables. Alternatively phone the supplying dealer to check the status of your car.
