Fitted my p f jones version of the normal witter tow bar. No cutting of the bumper. Bit of a pain to get in but found it easier to loosely attach the angle bar first then the main bar just slotted in. Shoved in a few bolts just to hold it in place then went about fixing all bolts up gradually. When putting on my light guards this morning I noticed that it is quite cavernous down there, enough room for a for a few hidden refugees. And while looking down there I could see the outer most bolt for one of the bracket but could not reach the inner one. So only had to drill one hole behind the reflector. Just the electrics next, looks a lot easier. GS Sd4 2012

dropped mine off with LR to look at the door seals coming away, wheel arch rubbers, doors intermittently not locking/unlocking and knocking from the front under low speed weight transfer.

Was hoping they would have a Velar in the showroom to browse over but it looked like they had just sold it as the price board was there (68k) but no RRV

I've gone through so many doors seals Rog during my last service the dealers ran out of time as the glue is a pig to clean they said. They added on their system that at the 4th service my remaining 2 body door seals both sides will be replaced too. I also requested they submitted an email to me stating this. During the 3rd service the wheel arch rubbers were all replaced also.

I have extended warranty but it does not cover door seals and rubber trim. Good luck with your dealer mine have being very considerate and even stated if the seals they fitted during the 3rd service come away again I'll stand a good chance with JLR as from new every door seal has been replaced at least twice some even 3 times. It has be a reoccurring fault on a new car which has mega low miles. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I know others on here have had the wheelarch rubbers replaced under warranty, and I would definitely expect the door rubbers to be covered as the front passenger one is hanging off !

LR Stratstone Doncaster were excellent with my Evoque troubles so hopefully they will be the same now. If I have to kick off I wont be happy.....

Get a different make of slave cylinder possibly, is the release arm overreaching due to a fault there be it bent or not seated correctly ? If so you may have the wrong clutch unit for your car. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Hi I have done it 5 times now and the last one was a genuine Land Rover I sent one off the slave cylinders off as was new to see if it was faulty and they said the seal went because over extended I have had the gear box sent off and all was ok. Put a genuine Land Rover slave in today and soon as I bled for the system that went all ok but soon as I put my foot on the clutch the slave went again. Really can't see what I / is going wrong

Not a slave issue then if you have already been told as I said slave its overreaching. Release arm fault or wrong clutch. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Had confirmation from LR that approved warranty has accepted the claim, so door seals, wheel arch trim and 2 door locks being replaced at no expense to me, but they cant get the car in until 4th September....

I do like the LR approved warranty... they have been worth their weight in gold to me Very Happy

Great to know that they have approved it considering extended warranty states it does not cover the seals and rubbers. Thumbs Up MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
