2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black

Hello all. Another newbie here. I picked up my 57 plate 2.2L HSE in santorini black on Monday. I bought it from a 4x4 dealer in Essex for a superb price...approx 40% off list with only 9000miles on the clock.

I drove it back to Aberdeen (500miles approx) which was a great opportunity to get to know it. I have to say that i've made a good choice. It was this or a CR-V. Only complaint is the stale cigarette smell from the previous owner.

Its a far cry from my previous motor, a MkII Audi TT, but I now have a young baby. It was either the baby or the TT and the TT lost.

hello flyboyben

Nice to have another member to keep Dave company Laughing

Stale cig smoke can be a Censored to get rid of, If your wanting rid, speak to a local car detailer who can offer a service where they use a fogger in the car to rid the smell, but this might only mask it for a period of time

There was a thread over on RRSport regarding this, and there was a few who had good result with various methods Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Cheers for the welcomes and advice.

I know a few detailers so I will ask them for their advice. In the meantime I have bought some god-awful air freshener which is probably worse than the fag smoke.
